With a background in construction, George -  founder of The Simple Snag Group - has worked for one of the UK’s largest construction companies on major projects, developing a strong understanding of how homes are built—and where issues can often be overlooked. This experience is now used to carry out detailed, independent snagging inspections, helping homeowners identify defects before they become bigger problems.

 

In later years, George worked within the home insurance sector in both account management and surveying roles, working closely with trades across all aspects of building repairs. This has developed a sharp eye for detail and a clear understanding of what good workmanship should look like.

 

Holding a National Diploma in Construction Management and Surveying, along with SSSTS certification, each inspection is backed by strong technical knowledge and a professional approach.
